I’ve created software and systems to control a wide variety of machinery and instrumentation, with a sustained record of successful execution & product delivery from concept to market.

My expertise has been deployed around the world in different roles: as business liaison with corporate alliance partners, as technical leader of multidisciplinary engineering teams, supporting business initiatives alongside strategic account teams, analysis of critical customer issues, and in the lab creating the future.

I’ve worked for small, medium, and large companies, as part of small, medium, and large teams.

I’ve developed products for diverse markets, including defense, industrial automation, controls, instrumentation, networking, communications, energy services, mission-critical & life-critical systems.

Systems engineering goes beyond the product specification.  Every development needs to consider human factors as among the most important.  Systems are conceived by people, are created by people, and used by people, all of whom make mistakes along the way. 

Resilient systems holistically address these uncertainties by enlarging the definition of system stakeholders to include all those who may influence the design, or may be influenced by the design, and identifying their solution space in the overall architecture.
